I was fascinated by Lily's comments about cables because I, too, lament that they have a right side and a wrong side. Lily has found a way to make them reversible, and she presents lots of great ideas in her new book, Power Cables.

My favorite cable project so far is the Irish Hiking Scarf. I'd love to try a cabled sweater next.
My favorite ---love cables and have likely made over 100 projects at this point with them----is Lily's own Reversible Cabled Rib shawl from a few years ago.
It's hard to choose a favorite, but I'm definitely drawn to the cardigan...the little detail of the reversed cable is really pretty...
